Changing Winds


The winds have shifted,
the storm has turned,
the sun peeps out,
the water is drying,
normality seems near,


The changing winds of life,
a whisper in the shadows,
a kind and loving act,
there is still hope in this world,
evil still has an enemy,
God is with us,


The changing winds blow,
carrying away the sins of humankind,
the stain of sorrow,
is wiped in the sleeve of joy,
there is happiness within reach,


The changing winds bring comfort,
cooling down anger and pain,
the scorch of arid days are left in the oasis of forgiveness,
God's plan has rescued the lost,


The changing winds lifts our souls.....
