I dare you take away my joy,
because its from God,
I'm his child anointed and blessed,
drinking from his stream of glory,


I dare you to say sad words,
because God is with me,
he is protecting me from each blow,


I dare you to pretend you care,
when your ways of hate circulate,
dragging the fresh breath of God,
and dulling the light of day,


I dare you to understand how I feel,
when you think only of yourself,
trapped in the error of your own ways,


I dare you today,
to fall on your knees and pray,
accepting God back in your life,
realizing that he is the only healing force,


I dare you to utter these words I say,
forgetting the ways of mankind,
relying only on God's love...
