Gay whips Asafa at Super Grand Prix in Stockholm

Tyson Gay

Tyson Gay ran an impressive wind-aided time of 9.79. The emphasis is on the wind-aided, the wind was 2.6m. Asafa Powell got up to a great start and seem to shut down after 50 meters. He was head-to-head with Gay, but seemed to ease up near the end. It is not clear what the game plan seems to be for Powell. But my feeling is that he is storing up his best for the World Championships. In any case, Usain Bolt still seems head and shoulders above Gay and Powell. The times Bolt has ran in telling conditions is incredible...We will have to wait and see in two weeks time.....

If things were different.....

Those times gone,
peeled away to reveal ones heart,
brings light to the darkness of those moments,
if things were different,
we would have been together,

If our hearts had been as one,
our love would have flowed over,
flooding even those you lost faith in hope,

We would have taken the time to share,
to open up in words,
rather than to ignore our feelings,
the regrets that will haunt us through this life,
would be sweet memories of a different time,
we wouldn't dream of being together,
if things were different,

You would have seen the tears in my eyes,
and wondered why I couldn't stare at you anymore as a friend,
the touch of my hand on your shoulder,
would explain my thoughts,
the words that I penned would become clear,
if things were different,

The whirlwind of fear has faded,
the times when I didn't care to live,
the times when I wondered if you were safe,
knowing that you had followed your doubts of me,
and had taken a different path,
if things were different,

I would tell you that I love you.......

Carl Lewis admits failing drugs test.....

Well, well...finally Carl Lewis has yielded to pressure and has admitted that he failed three drug tests prior to the 1988 Seoul Olympics. These tests were failed at the US Olympic Trials. Why am I not surprised....Mr. Lewis was always saying that Ben Johnson was a drug cheat, when he was doing the same. The US Olympic Committee failed to disclose this information, as it would have resulted in their golden boy being banned...This is very shocking news, but as I have said over and over, I am not surprised...Lately Mr. Lewis has been trying to imply that Usain Bolt is on drugs, but shame on you sir...Unlike Mr. Lewis, Jamaican authorities do not condone positive drug tests, as seen recently with the five athletes who were discovered as having taken banned substances. Mr. Bolt is constantly being tested, and has never failed a test, some people can't say the same...
Shocking but not a surprise for me.... Maybe Mr. Lewis will shut up now....

Finally......

Now that they have booted me from sampasite...A new journey begins...
Sampasite is actually closing down and I will miss them...they were great...
Hope everyone will still follow my blog...still learning about it....
