President Hosni Mubarak


Egypt Erupts....


President Hosni Mubarak is still standing his ground, and insists that he will not resign until September. This has led to mounting protests by those for and against Mubarak. There is widespread looting and burning of building, cars and whatever the protesters can get their hands on. There have also been reports of deaths, although the figures are not clear or accurate.


The predicted rise in oil due to the crisis by many experts has not materialized. Oil has stayed around $89/barrel. Oil is currently trading at $88.81/barrel.
