What if tomorrow was only a dream,
and your life would never be the same,
would you carry the same burdens you often bear,
would you take for granted the small things,
would it matter what people often say,

What if you've given of your all,
and still ended up the worse,
would you make it bother you,
or just live for today,

What if you thought you loved someone,
but deep down they didn't love you,
would you shed a tear,
or curl up in fear,
do you think they would care?

What if you never understood what love really is,
because you never read the Word of truth,
that taught that "true love is when you are willing to lay down your life for a friend",
would your outlook on life be different,

What if you left your life in God's hand,
drawing closer to his will,
wouldn't the sunshine follow you,
even in those dark and lonely days,
when your life like the wind would sway,

What if you could change today,
would you change the words you would say,
would you stare at your image so,
trying so hard to please the world,
or would you leave it up to above,
focusing on the many blessings of his love,
