what a joy, 
a cute baby boy,
a gift from God,
a treasure to behold,


What a joy,
to hold him in my arms,
to hear his heart beat,
to watch his moods change,
my beautiful boy,


What a joy,
to stare into innocence,
to whisper love in his ears,
my wonderful son,


What a joy,
such a privilege,
to hold him near,
to hear his cry,
to cuddle him close,


What a joy,
God is near,
his love in my midst,
my role now changed,
his will I must impart in years to come,


What a joy,
thank you Lord,
you are in charge....
