The US stock market took a beating last week, causing many to speculate if we are really moving away from a recession. This was due to many factors, some of which include:
- Uncertainty in Europe in regards to its deficit levels.
- Goldman Sachs and the Greece credit swaps.
- Fall in confidence levels in the US
- Some worries about China and its GDP figures
- The Toyota safety debacle
You can pick your choice as to what may have caused the slump last week, but it is clear that we are still viewing the world through the woods, with the mountain side far from our line of sight. It appears that the market still has not hit the bottom and there are still buying opportunities for the strong at heart. This week we will look closer at some possible penny stock buys..
